Hi guys! There will be a class outing tomorow(Friday). Actually I was planning to tell you guys earlier, but organizer Alex Lee can't seem to decide the time. We are watching Monsters Vs Aliens. Time is not yet decided, but will probably be 5+ or 6+ pm. Initially, It's a class outing among the boys, but told alex to extend it to an class outing. How to get there: Take the east bound train to Pasir Ris MRT station. Outside Pasir Ris MRT there is a taxi stand facing the main road, near McDonalds. There is a shuttle bus to Aloha Loyang that will bring you to the reception office. Garden Terrace E should be nearby.

You probably heard this already.. but i'll still say, O'lvl is finally over!

Now those who were whining for Singapore Flyer couple of weeks ago, here's the good news! Actually, i have been waiting for someone to organise the outing, but since i have waited for days and no one even mention it (zzz), i took the initiative. Lol

I'm bad at choosing dates so... i randomly picked one - 22 nov, which is Saturday. I wanna see the response first. If it's good, then i'll go into further details about the outing. If it's bad, like a few people only, then i'll cancel it. But i hope that wouldn't happen. If you can make it, message me, and help spread the word around too.

UPDATE (13/11/2008): Now that the O's are officially over, here are the...erm..."goodies": My house is open to visitors. Just ask and I'll consider. On CNY Eve there will be a night celebration too. Everyone from 4e2 is allowed to participate. This "offer" stands until we get our O's results.

Hi guys. Anybody wearing red tomorow? we should be patriotic, shouldn't we? Lol.

Just a few things i would like to add on. The class has been quite dirty lately (although it's dirty all along). I would like to appeal to you guys to be a little more considerate, because yesterday morning when i swept the floor, i see used tissue paper everywhere and waste paper with all kinds of shape and size. I'm not being fussy and over-hygienic, but please spare a FEW seconds and take a look around you. Nobody wants to see this blog full of complains. A few people got a little bit sick already, and i've got serious rashes yesterday. So please and thank you in advanced.

2 more weeks to prelims, work hard! And don't forget to practice for oral which is on next Thursday.

Guys who didn't study but played instead (including me, I'm not pointing fingers), please get some fucking guilty conscience. Fancy joking around or pretending that nothing has happened after Mr. Tan's furious berating.

This blog is so inactive. I've lurked around other blogs and I could see the stark differences. Heck, not here to complain about it anyway.

I've found something extremely interesting in two blogs. I'm lazy to add colours so I'll leave the other 4e2 bloggers to do it if they wish to.

NINE WORDS WOMEN USE

1.) Fine : This is the word women use to end an argument when they are right and you need to shut up.

2.) Five Minutes : If she is getting dressed, this means a half an hour. Five minutes is only five minutes if you have just been given five more minutes to watch the game before helping around the house.

3.) Nothing : This is the calm before the storm. This means something, and you should be on your toes. Arguments that begin with nothing Usually end in fine.

4.) Go Ahead : This is a dare, not permission. DON'T DO IT!

5.) Loud Sigh : This is actually a word, but is a non-verbal statement often misunderstood by men. A loud sigh means she thinks you are an idiot and wonders why she is wasting her time standing here and arguing with you about nothing. (Refer back to #3 for the meaning of nothing.)

6.) That's OK : This is one of the most dangerous statements a woman can make to a man. "That's OK" means she wants to think long and hard before deciding how and when you will pay for your mistake.

7.) Thanks : A woman is thanking you, do not question, or Faint. Just say you're welcome.

8.) Whatever : Is a woman's way of saying the F word.

9.) Don't worry about it, I got it : Another dangerous statement, meaning this is something that a woman has told a man to do several times, but she's now doing it herself. This will later result in a man asking 'What's wrong?' For the woman's response refer to #3..

you know HOW HARD is it to get the class organized?
we sort of played the water game.
shengyao and his brilliant idea of using seawater because he couldn't find the tap and its too much of a trouble.
started throwing sponges at each other.
juntat and cx were very nice targets (:
the boys push juntat to the sea.
yaoyang and his soccer ball spared no one.
nicholas was being such a gentleman, throwing sponges at us, girls.
everyone were partially wet or really wet.
salt and water is everyone's favorite aye?
marcus, alex and shaun (our chinese class stowaway)were left dry.
guys went build sandcastle with the buckets like a bunch of small kids but they all fail. 'mini pond'
kite-flying by wenghong.
OH YA, TAN SHENG YAO LEARN TO RIDE A BIKE! CONGRATS!
he finally knows how to ride a bike, he is such a fast learner.

meet at the shelter nearest to the underpass from NTUC.
[calling all hougang residents to meet up together first at hougang point at 12.30.
to the rest : arrange your own meet ups.

TIME : 1.30 at the venue itself

WHAT TO BRING : food if you like. we'll not be responsible with any loss belongings.

xtra clothes if you're afraid of getting dirty.
[by the way, there's no BBQ for dinner(: sorry. we could for dinner together after the games.]

ACTIVITIES: it will a hell lot of fun IF YOU GUYS COOPERATE and just try to have fun without pretending that you are having fun.
credits to marcus POON who was more than willing to sponsor us with sponges. so, its gonna get wet.
someone please volunteer to bring pails if not you will be playing with seawater.
(we need at least 3) VOLUNTEER !

Okay, ladies and gentlemen. I don't know who came up with the idea to have class recess at canteen every Monday, but it's a good idea though. Surely the purpose is to bond us together and create a healthy class spirit.

Like what Sophia said, the girls may not talk to the guys (and vice versa). As i know, it's quite a problem which should be resolve immediately. It's not good to carry that sexism mentality when we grow up. That's the reason why someone came up with the idea, right? I know some guys don't speak much to girls, (and vice versa). Why not be more understanding? There must be certain reason behind it.Who knows?

Criticizing wouldn't help. Pushing the blame wouldn't help either. It can only create hatred among ourselves.

That's the point where the problem arise.

So to everyone, whether you are at fault or not, no solution would work if we do not show some respect, some responsibility, and some tolerance

It just takes a tiny bit of initiative and effort from everybody to address the problem.
